Lucas is a young man who lives with his religious aunt Lourdes in a quiet country town. It's always great to see religious characters react differently to coming out in a positive way. No offense intended but she did remind me of Glen Close in "Fatal Attraction".
One hour and 19 minutes of pure brilliance. What a delight to watch this movie.
Best film and gay film I’ve seen for a good long while.
A little 'overly comedic' and unlikely in places but that's part of its charm. The two leads here are utterly mesmerising. I agree with a previous reviewer.... this is a film with likeable (and attractive) characters, a good story line, humour and a happy ending.

Regarder Cousins (2019)… We are human beings that do human things. I think the critics wanted it to be a torrid and sweeping love affair with waves crashing, where in “Cousins” the central lovers just go for a swim.
Easily surpassing that Armie Hammer gay romance set in Europe. Cannot recommend highly enough.

some good scenes but why 18 cert Clumsy acting. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 25, 2019 I understand where this movie aimed, and it's ok, but Brazilian cinema certainly has movies which aimed much higher. I got this DVD "Cousins" on the 24th December, it was going to be a "Christmas box for a friend, but after viewing it.

There’s also a cute dog and a crazy girl, one who threatens to destroy everything. A really well told story - nice characters, nice concept.

In Italian with English subtitles. I love the actor/director who also appears in About Us. I loved it. But his life changes when the charitable aunt announces the arrival of another nephew -- Mario -- just out of jail in the sexy, unexpectedly sweet film. But definitely not a good one either. The content here is strong but that makes for a change from all the sterile stuff we’ve had to put up with in the recent years. This one is a keeper. It celebrates religious virtues while not being pious. * One part I Don't understand is that "MARIO" finds "Lucas" hiding up in a cubbyhole on the 2nd Floor, ** So How could that Crazy Girl see in Through the windows the boys!!!!! There is always an "amateur" vibe on the plot, on extra actors, and even on main actors on some parts.
Completely unbelievable story acted by very poor actors. This is a gem. Year: 2019.
